In 2013, we introduced the first prototype of a greenhouse farm in Cameroon. It was made of bamboo and covered with greenhouse plastics. We used a hand hose for irrigation and sticks for trellising.
It was set up by an amateur team led by a visionary who had just returned from the USA to his village of Mbengwi in the North West region of Cameroon,
Through continuous innovations, these greenhouses have evolved from bamboo to metal through wooden greenhouses farms. They have been used in the production of a wide variety of crops served locally and regionally,
We have built over 500 individual greenhouses and have been instrumental in the substitution of several imported foods. We have trained several participants and secured jobs for them upon completion. We have the largest production capacity in greenhouse farms. We aim to establish a growing network of greenhouse farms in Cameroon, and Africa in general.
